Why is my cat not affectionate?
Just like you and me, cats have their own unique personalities, some can be quite extroverted and confident whilst others can be a little introverted and shy. If your cat isn't affectionate, it's probably because that's just one of their unique personality traits. Now remember, this personality trait can come down to the environment they were raised in, your cat may have had very little human socialisation when they were younger making them a little shy of us two legged giants.
