Why is my cat coughing?

The first thing to check is that their collar isn't too tight. If that isn't the cause it might be that they're allergic to something in their surroundings - for example pollen. If the problem persists or is causing concern you may want to check with a vet that they aren't suffering from asthma or in rare cases, cancer.
