Why does my dog follow me to the toilet?
Despite the obvious inconvenience and absolute lack of respect for privacy, this behaviour actually comes from a good place. Dogs came from packs where they relied upon one another to look out for threats while another member did their business. This is an in built animal instinct and nothing to worry about.
