Why does my cat follow me and not my husband?
Your husband may have a natural scent that your cat isn't a fan of, or there's a chance that you're cat doesn't appreciate his new cologne... It is also not uncommon for cats to pick a favourite. If you feed your cat more and give them more attention that'll explain why they prefer you.
